Business Analyst

Primary Duties:

  • Identify new business opportunities and propose new technical solutions that could increase business value and provide new avenues of revenue.
  • Coordinate technical requirements between business and engineering teams to integrate new solutions.
  • Identify missing business functionalities within the existing multi-service architecture and propose new business and technical solutions.
  • Develop strategies to promote the team’s adherence to regulations and performance goals, while meeting the business requirements.
  • Build experiments to explore previously unused datasets and identify trends and patterns that could help improve targeted business advertising and save costs.
  • Model customer trends data using the scientific approach to increase business value and revenue.
  • Design and implement automated data processing pipelines and integrate it into existing microservice architecture.
  • Implement core statistical models using python and utilize multiple languages to gather datasets from different services.
  • Monitor and maintain existing production models and classifiers to identify false positives, bugs, and resource utilization.
  • Provide technical specifications for new data analysis projects, and work with multiple teams to gather the necessary data, choose the right data modeling structures to meet business requirements.
  • Design and implement enhanced reporting systems to aggregate data from various services to validate current business models, and to identify any potential issues and bottlenecks.
  • Identify trends and opportunities through new technologies to improve departmental processes and systems and providing recommendations on solutions.
  • Provide technical support for the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders internally and externally within the company and its various suppliers.
  • Formulate new methods to collect and process data sets in large volumes, identify anomalies and prepare the datasets for various business research.
  • Provide quality customer service when interacting with existing and potential suppliers, addressing potential solutions, and ensuring any and all conflicts are resolved as quickly as possible.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a similar related field of study. Master’s degree in any of these fields is a plus.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Detail orientated with excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with involving MS Visio, Enterprise Architect, Operations Management, Requisite Pro, Decision Support Systems, Supply Chain Management, UAT, UML, and Business Process Re-engineering, is required.
